5 more days

So this Saturday's the final day... the day tt marks my farewell to my status indication on forms as "single" & my greeting to being a "Mrs" somebody. Kinda wonder how life will be after Saturday - mum says many things are gonna change & so does many other ppl but in all tt changes, I don't wanna lose myself. Some ppl make it sound so scary, it's unbelievable.. LOLx.. a friend asked just on last Sat. how I was feeling abt getting married in the coming week, and my answer was "I'm not feeling anything." Sounds crazy but really... am not feeling anything too extreme - no cold feet, no butterflies, no "OMG!!!!" no fear, no anixiety... just a simple feeling of "Ok, June 7th's coming soon & tt's the dayI'm gonna get married." Maybe work & wedding preps have just make me immune to feeling too much.. maybe I'll get more crazy the day before & on the wedding day itself.. hahah.. I just think tt feeling too much is only gonna raise my blood pressure, create unnecessary breakouts & all the other negative crappy stuff, which honestly I'm sure I could do without =p The only pushing I've done is to harp on my 3 girlfriends tt they had better be there for me the day before & on the day itself, if anything crops up with 'em then maybe I'll start fretting more.. heh heh

Had a really wonderful hen's night last Sat. - thanks a million to my 3 gd friends, who were the organisers - Fi, Becs & T (love u tons & tons) & also to the others who came later - my girlfirends - Aly & Shirin, Serene & Chris. I was honestly thinking of sth really small small scale & those 3 have gone beyond anything, doing much much WAY much more than what I had expected. The hotel room was lovely, esp the scenry we got frm our window & all the nonsense we did before dinner - playing with the curtains, posing on the balcony, running out to hide in the corridoor, pretending to be room service attendants, etc.. LOL.. it was a ball right frm the start! Dinner was lovely - they brought me to a place tt served my fave food stuff, cheese =D The activity after tt really caught me by surprise - karaoke! (Kinda wondered if they had asked my hubby abt tt.. heh heh.. nv thought Caucasians were into karaoke!) To add to tt, it was fabulous to have ppl finally singing & dancing to songs tt I also appreciate.. cheers to Abba, the Carpenters, etc =D In highlight of all coincidences, the club we were at after tt actually played so many of the songs we had sang at the karaoke joint.. UNBELIEVEABLE!!!

The Scavenger Hunt game that Fi came up with was one of a kind.. LOLx.. "Guy with a fake tan"... like they were gonna tell us. I made a record tt night speaking to so many unknown guys.. hahah.. then of course there were also some really crazy bunch of guys, who kept taking my pic or wanting to borrow my PINK furry tiara (I still can't believe I wore tt the whole night.. LOLx) At the club, I was later pushed up onto stage when the band singer dedicated a song to me - 'Can't Take My Eyes of You' (strangely I never got the singer's name) Then was made to sing the final chorus to everybody (pity their ears, man.. LOLx) & strangely again, tt was one of the songs we had sang at the karaoke joint =) I really had a blast with lovely ppl & once really I appreciate all who came to party, enjoy & have fun with me.. can't wait to see what pics have been taken =p
