Words cannot express

Today saw our nation's 5 young paddlers being laid to rest - Chee Wei Cheng, Reuben Kee, Jeremy Goh, Poh Boon San and Stephen Loh.. from the day the news of them missing after their boat capsized in Phnom Penh’s Tonle Sap River broke out right up until today, it has been extremely hard for many - family, friends, team-mates, colleagues, classmates and even strangers.

Words cannot express everything that is going through - through the mind, soul, body and heart. For five lives to have been lost just like that is something that we won't ever get by easily with a mere consolation, hug or brush of the tear.. Still life has to go on and no matter how it is ever easier said than done, the pieces have to be picked up.. Carry on each of the five young men's legacy and carry on living.. To the family, friends, team-mates, colleagues and classmates of Wei Cheng, Reuben, Jeremy, Boon San and Stephen - band together in love and support and heal each other in your own love, as well as the five young men's.. to us all, may we take this and learn to treasure and appreciate the people we have around us, not just today but everyday and not just through good times but in bad too.

Wei Cheng, Reuben, Jeremy, Boon San and Stephen - may you find peace, happiness and love in your very own paradise.
